We are pleased to announce the release of the Client Secret Rotation feature on the Home Connect Developer Portal.
You can now generate a new client secret for any of your registered applications at any time - simply navigate to your application's settings and select "Rotate Client-Secret", and your new credential will be issued instantly while the old one is invalidated.

This enhancement gives you greater control over your application's security posture, making it straightforward to respond to compromised credentials and stay aligned with OAuth 2.0 best practices.

An updated version of the Home Connect Simulator service was released in early April. This tool is designed to streamline your testing and development workflows for Home Connect integrations.
The Simulator enables Developers to test their applications against virtual home appliances. This allows for experimentation with various appliance states, commands, and events without requiring physical devices.
This latest release incorporates improvements aimed at performance and stability.
